3. Durability and attention: Most of the naturally occurring rocks are porous naturally, thus requiring more care and maintenance. They need to be sealed after every 2 years. Without proper seal your stains can sink into into the stone and may lead to staining. The man made stones are certainly not porous and will as a result not absorb fluids and stain requiring less care and therefore are more long lasting compared to the natural stones.
