Saturday’s “To Do” list gets underway with Head to Rummage sales!
Planning my route a night before, testing my gps on my phone and circling the garage sale listings from the paper certainly are a Friday night ritual.
The community I live in is often a “Planned Community”. That means it is pre-planned and strategically organized. storage unit auction near me can be separated into Sections every section is presented by instructions. The “P” section contains streets beginning with the letter P: Perkins, Parking, Parkins, Penny. You get the drift! Within the P section, there are lots of retirees and young professionals. The W section is considered the rich and ritzy area of town Then the B section is older yet sadly, more rundown. The R section is loaded with young families with children. The S Section is south of town and thought of within the boondocks because the lots are larger and it feels more country. Lastly, the C Section is how the canals, intracoastal, boats, boats plus much more boaters live. Each section possesses his own characteristics and community. Despite the fact that we are all section of the larger town, these “sections” develop over town to attract a certain ambience. The region with many different children have 2 elementary schools and sidewalks throughout. The “Country” portion of town doesn’t have any street lights and is from the beaten track from your remainder of town. But, town all together has regulations and rules and laws that we all try to abide.

We have been allowed Two rummage sales per year. We’re forced to obtain a $5 permit for each of such sales and our signage is acquired and destroyed by noon on Saturday mornings. It’s not at all a conducive atmosphere to get a Garage Sale Business from your home!
A lot of people have ignored all the rules, communicated making use of their neighbors regarding their needs and plans and also come up with a fairly good living wearing the yard sale event monthly! However when they get caught disobeying the guidelines, they feign innocence towards the rules and promise to not ever repeat! But, a month later when important things have calmed backpedal, there may suddenly be another yard sale! A lot of people in the neighborhood could care less and life goes on!
Around the Wednesday ahead of the Friday/Saturday Garage Sale rush, a long list of all sales is released within our local shopping guide, The Pennysaver. People list their address, time and date of sale along with a handful of “hook” goods that will attract the throngs of super sale seekers. I faithfully pour on the Pennysaver dividing the sale addresses into town’s sections and plot my Saturday journey!
I leave for that sales until around 11am since the majority of the sales end by 1 or 2pm. Therefore, as soon as I recieve towards the sale, the folks you will need to sell all of the their stuff for virtually any price you offer them. Ever since i am NEVER seeking anything in particular… just real deals, I have been previously capable of purchase (without negotiation) entire rooms of furniture, enormous collections of old china and enough fabric to sew clothes for a under-developed nation! I purchased it for about $5!!! I have a weekly budget around $20 for rummage sales and just a few times have I ever reviewed that quantity!!!
So, for this weekend, I am plotting out about 10 sales in a 10 mile variety of my property. I will leave at 11 am and turn into back by 3pm i know….The trunk seat from the car will likely be LOADED!!!!
