She even would go to the neighborhood newspaper once the local police usually do not act on her fears. She does catch the attention of the out-of-work detective, the newest editor with the local newspaper and as a final point the location itself.
The central character is Henrietta, who was simply named following the town involved, Henryetta, Oklahoma. Henrietta offers quite a bit going for her nowadays, she has gone after the top city, OKC, OK and landed employment with the local t.v. station. Even though this does not strengthen your journalistic career, it does get her during Vacancies and events of the morning. The most common players for Henryetta are Wynona Sue, Henrietta’s hairdresser mother stars inside a “reality” show, see later. Her husband, Professor LeHough, a neighborhood bug expert is bald from your surprise shaving. Rodney, Henrietta’s boyfriend, camera man buddy and overall companion is pulled and tugged by Henrietta and her immediate boss Miss Peg. Harold Mixon, the owner and editor emeritus with the local weekly newspaper, just put online is attempting to have a pleasant and quiet Labor Day weekend with his friends in the International Order of Odd Fellows (I.O.O.F.).
The opposite main characters are Gigi Carpenter, a feminist reporter turned editor with the local newspaper. Then Deano DeBoffo because “reality” show director attempting to shot a pilot to get a new show. Finally, Shatner Lapp, like a newsman, publisher, editor and all-round ancient boy, relates to town to assist in his Princeton buddy’s newspaper problems.
Once these individuals become involved in the gossip laden townsfolk, the misinformation flies. With increased rumors then this facts probably warrant, a few missing girls become more and much more objects of speculation and intrigue while hardly any factual facts are given. The rumors start out mild because missing girls are just looked for by Ma and Maximo.
These rumors and gossip finally resulted in a serious “reporter war” between Shat and Gigi. The misinformation here becomes the avalanche cascading within the news and therefore the townspeople.
