The Walking Dead Preview

In the era of entertainment where vampires and crime dramas are center stage, in which the hell are typical the zombies? Were in definite demand for an apocalyptic setting, and AMC is placed to provide us exactly that with its upcoming series The Walking Dead. Airing Halloween, The Walking Dead is based on a lengthy running comic series published by Robert Kirkman. The comics Target the trials and tribulations of Rick Grimes and a small group of survivors after having a zombie outbreak. What begins to be a simple journey to locate his wife and son, the series quickly develops in to a story of betrayal and survival in the realm of psychopaths and killers.

Initially from Kentucky, Grimes, a functional a small town officer, is wounded within a gun fight with a fugitive. Falling to a coma, he later wakes in his hospital bed lost and unaware of the latest developments that have befallen the planet. He eventually meets a classic man with his fantastic son, and decides to line out for Atlanta to locate his very own family. Even if this stunt nearly gets him killed, he eventually meets track of a ragtag band of survivors and it is reunited with his wife and son. After that, The Walking Dead gets a quest through hell and high water to steer a party of tired, homesick, desperate website visitors to salvation.

One defining feature on the comic series would be the amount of internal struggle and strife between your survivors. These days of decay, situations are extremely hard to live on with, and likelihood of survival are limited. Everybody in the story is painfully aware of this (one chief means of avoiding zombies is always to rub yourself with their meat), also it wears about them day in and outing. It would be a fantastic disservice on the books if your television series will not bring this to the forefront. They need to show plenty of struggle, not just together with the numerous undead but within each character too.

It really is interesting to note that within a recent interview with Robert Kirkman, he let slip that there will be some non-comic story elements worked in, and the series will finish on some sort of cliffhanger that wasn’t featured in the comics. However, it’s going to be interesting to discover how a new aspects of the tale will be incorporated into the six episode series.

The characters inside the story are dynamic, and a lot with the series involves dialog between survivors. The characters within this story leave equally as fast as they appear, and the story is stuffed with interesting twists and turns. It’s actually a fantastic story, and that i have faith if you watch one episode you can be hooked. No hand glowing fairies or southern vampires here, just brainless flesh-consuming hordes with the undead. If you think maybe the Shawshank Redemption mixed with zombies and psychopaths appears like your kind of thing, this show will probably be to suit your needs.
