Without a doubt one of the greatest games with this year’s E3 was Destiny, the first new IP from Bungie in over the decade. None of us knew what to expect of course we all waited in line to get in Bungie’s private theater. We had arrived showered with swag like T-shirts and stickers though the three hour wait still seemed like a long time. You know what? It turned out totally worthwhile. Bungie’s Destiny will blow our socks off when it gets released next season, i for starters can’t wait to begin the sport as soon as possible.
Destiny is almost like a first person shooter/ MMO. It’s not a legitimate MMO though as there are limitations to how many players will be in one area but basically you’ll never be alone. It’s fair to really make the comparison that Destiny plays strikingly much like Halo, Bungie’s perhaps most obviously work- the way the characters move, interact and appear harkens returning to the glory times of Halo: Combat Evolved.
As the demo we had arrived shown was precisely the same one from Sony’s press conference, the Bungie team guaranteed our experience was a little different. They interacted differently while they literally demo, and demonstrated the vast environment where Destiny’s characters will play. What Destiny really gets right may be the feeling of atmosphere: it feels as though an income, breathing internet. This might be the greatest compliment you may make with a massive multiplayer game exactly like it.
Combined with gorgeous environment, the gameplay is another beauty queen. Again, in case you are knowledgeable about Halo, you’re sure to feel right at home with Destiny. The grenades again appear like unique tools of destruction, the guns have course very original but also there are the Guardians’ (the characters you play as) special abilities. In the demo we have got to look at, the Bungie play tester jumped in the air because he unleashed a robust Dragon Ball Z like fireball with an enemy tank. Of course, it turned out very pretty.
Talking about pretty things, the game looks great. The planet appears to draw you within vivid colors and impressive effects. The models look beautiful and in what way they interact with the entire world seemed very seamless. One of the most impressive things in the demo was each time a massive enemy flagship descended in the world’s atmosphere. You can start to see the wind rushing across the characters and the level. Destiny is sure to push the present generation of consoles and even increase the risk for new PlayStation 4 and Xbox One sweat somewhat.
destiny forums to view Bungie finally go not used to help. I believe these were happy to stretch their creative genius once you get your franchise. It appears as though they’ve made quite the commitment with Activision though; Bungie will be working on Destiny not less than four titles. We’ll see if men and women will get yourself a little exhausted with all the franchise on the other hand seriously doubt it. Bungie seems determined to keep updating the game and deliver a living breathing world.
