Shri Radhe Maa’s Journey

Shri Radhe Maa is a spiritual luminary born in a town of Dorangla in Punjab. At this young age where other girls were using their dolls, she decided to completely devote her time towards bhakti of Lord Shiva and Devi Mata. When she turned 18, Radhe Maa’s was married to Mohan Singh, a prosperous businessman residing in Mukerian, Punjab.

This marriage would have been to be a turning point in Shri Radhe Maa Ji’s journey towards spirituality. During a visit to an old Lord Shiva temple, she met Shri Shri 1008 Mahant Ramdeen Das (139-years-old at the time of his death in ’09 according government records), a highly acclaimed saint who turned her spiritual life around. “Chandi (a fierce kind of the Devi) has graced this temple today,” said the Mahant. From on that day onwards, she began to go to the temple every single day and provide worship to Lord Shiva.

While attending chores which were a part of her duties, she continued her tryst with spiritual devotion. Radhe Guru Maa’s sensitive, kind, generous and resplendent personality attracted numerous devotees to her. Her devotees requested her to carry satsangs, jagrans, pujas as well as other religious services in and around their vicinity. She responded by graciously throwing her doors available to all who wanted to attend. Several families credited the jagrans with solving their personal, financial, familial and professional problems.

As her reputation spread, individuals along with families invited her to their homes in the hope that her presence would inspire their lives for that better. Her subsequent travels took her not just to cities in India, but also to locations across the globe, including the UK, Switzerland, Middle East and Canada. Devotees aren’t expected to donate towards Shri Radhe Maa’s darshan. The food served at her gatherings, the musical performances and also the Darshans cost nothing. Her teachings center around the key of surrendering oneself to God, and regular bhakti in the form of ritualistic worship and devotional chanting from the names from the Hindu deities Lord Shiva and Devi Mata.

She currently resides in Mumbai using the Gupta family, who are true devotees of Radhe Guru Maa. A Mata ki Chowki is carried out by them every 15 days at Shri Radhe Maa Bhavan in Borivali, that is ready to accept all with no exception. Heartwarming bhajans and prayers are offered to Lord Shiva and Durga Mata. Shri Radhe Maa also blesses her followers on the nights the chowki.
