Though it looks like we have been on target to economic recovery, the path out of the house of our recession might be a long one. A lot of people, myself included, have mislaid their jobs of long-time standing, thanks to downsizing, or perhaps plain deficiency of resources to keep, that particular business. And, even though the enacted Economic Stimulus Bill permits extended unemployment benefits, that’s still just a temporary, or quick, fix, for your record quantity of unemployed.
And, even though it DID seem that people were just getting our heads higher than the economic waters, the globe economic distresses, like in Greece and Europe recently, suddenly impact us here in the U.S., along with the effects on our economy are felt in the sharp drop in the stock exchange. But, there’s hope for us, as our job market is, albeit slowly, needs to get, because there lies the true secret to any recovering economy. So, in asking the large question, “Is our economic recovery working?”, you must make sure to look at the positive factors, as an alternative to dwelling around the negative an excessive amount of. Although we can not disregard the negative, we can learn, and grow, readily available experiences that our country, along with ourselves, happen to be within these last few years.
Something I’ve learned in building and re-establishing good credit (which can be crucial in today’s economic growth), is always to live well within my means…. There is a saying (pest variation of this): “If you simply Need it, you never actually need it.” Yet, if we can do without every one of the luxuries, then certain retailers would also suffer, again hurting our economic recovery. So, basically, we should just simply attempt to live in the MEANS, and if that affords some little luxuries and luxuries, so be it. But, so long as we remember (myself especially included) WHAT got us until now was overstepping our means, and misusing credit, accruing huge debts- not only personally, but in business- and prevent that trap, economic recovery DOES, and can work.
