Found in the province of Ontario in Canada, Toronto is and is home to many festivals and events. Regardless if you are visiting the capital of scotland- Toronto or you are in it, be sure you have a look at many of these festivals and events so that you can have the true sense of this Canadian city. Though there are a number of events happening in Toronto throughout the year, these are simply a couple of;

METRO HALL – INDULGE
Metro Hall is found at 55 John Street, Toronto, Ontario. This season, the city has started a fresh “event” that moving on Thursday, May 25th at 8:00 am. It occurs in Metro Hall Square and also the public is invited to participate in on the sights, sounds, and flavors from the city. It will take place every Thursday through the summer until October 12th.
The square (from 11:30 A.M. to two:30 P.M.) with have food vendors and live entertainment for that lunchtime crowd. You are able to sit inside the square, and people watch while you enjoy lunch while hearing a totally free concert.
THE TORONTO MUSIC GARDEN

The Toronto Music Garden offers free music and dance programming through the summer. Admission to this beautiful waterfront facility is free seven days a week. The garden was created through the world-renowned cellist Yo-Yo Ma and landscape designer Julie Moir Messervy as a reflection in landscape of Bach’s First Suite for Unaccompanied Cello. Purchase 19 free concerts this summer, featuring outstanding artists plus a wide range of musical styles, from medieval love songs to finger-style guitar. Concerts take place in the Toronto Music Garden of many Thursdays at 7 pm and Sundays at 4 pm and therefore are approximately 60 minutes in length.

Beaches INTERNATIONAL JAZZ FESTIVAL
From July 7 to 30, beaches section of Toronto’s east end holds this not-to-be-missed festival. It is a unique music festival being community-based and free. This coming year, over 700 artists will attract an audience well over 1 million fans. The lineup consists of over 100 bands playing different types of music including Jazz, Big Band, Reggae, Calypso, and Blues.
