Create Art that produces a Difference

“The creative arts will be the measure and reflection of our civilization. They provide many children an opportunity to see life having a larger perspective…The moral values we treasure are reflected within the beauty and truth that is emotionally transmitted with the arts. The humanities say something about us to future generations.”
-Ann P. Kahn, Former President in the National PTA

Indifference. It does not take biggest problem we face as people. For many years, we’re told to ‘express yourself.’ Embracing our individuality, embracing our flaws, expressing whatever we actually feel, being ourselves with no pretension – it’s great. But have we taken it too far, concise that we are too centered on ourselves as individuals that we’ve forgotten to worry?
This was said to be a moving discussion about art, however i feel as opposed to emphasizing art as a possible expression of one’s individuality, I would focus on how art could be a tool in order to connect visitors to people. How artists can express themselves having a purpose.
The greater use of data we’ve, the more ways of link to others – the more we become disconnected. However when you think about it, people still bond through appreciation of performance arts, visual arts and art in the more modern forms.
You can find communities of people who appreciate the same film, Broadway musical, pop artists and so on. I believe making use of this is often a great solution to the indifference and apathy everyone will feel towards others.
Empowering Artists
Within a world which allows you infinite channels of reaching out, we feel a growing number of lonely. I believe art could be a solution http://www.drawing-pencil-sketches.com/. Art as a possible expression could be a moving force, like a thought and emotion provoking tool. It won’t reveal what to do, however it can move us to believe, some thing and engage
You may point out that art is a more of a guilty pleasure nowadays. It can be. But it can even be so much more than that as it could stimulate intellectual discussion. Once you learn the classic artwork of Elizabeth Sirani entitled ‘Portia wounding her thigh,’ you may also often hear in regards to the debate it sparked one of the art and intellectual communities in those days. Within the painting, a good looking woman is depicted holding a knife having a bloody wound on her thigh – thought provoking, interpreted differently, heatedly discussed like a woman doing what a man can, taking on the same volume of pain and so on.
Although art can be an intense strategy for expressing individuality, it is not entirely limited by that. Art is often looked as any creative work of your man and that creative work could be a response or a reaction to something beautiful or an idea, an incident that is personal or otherwise.
It seems like impossible to place art in a box and define it, right. Doesn’t this ambiguity allow us to define it ourselves and present it purpose?
Since art in the modern form moved beyond paintings, sculptures or architecture into posters, popular culture, photography, computer-generated graphic arts, film, music, theater and so on – they have indeed diversified. With marketing thrown in the mix, artists create art that is targeting a specific audience or perhaps is made with a reason and it can be more than simply possessing that artwork.
Art that produces a change
Popular culture isn’t as widely known as art even though it is an imaginative expression. By definition, Shows, movies, songs, comics, manga, web series and so on are art. Pop culture is the thing that art aimed to get, a method of life. The strength of pop art can not be underestimated and it is continued emergence and evolution insistently break all walls of conformity of high-brow art.
As we take what is looked as the skill and present it purpose, empower artists to create art that will inspire audiences to get more compassionate as well as emphasize the urgency of issues including war and the climatic change – wouldn’t that be social relevance at its finest?
Yes, not everybody could be artists, but many of us can appreciate that people can relate with, right? That is one reason why artists must take benefit from their platform to create art i touch and persuade people everywhere. Isn’t this transformative experience what art is perfect for?
