“The creative arts include the measure and reflection in our civilization. They feature many children a chance to see life having a larger perspective…The moral values we treasure are reflected from the beauty and truth which is emotionally transmitted from the arts. The arts say something about us to our children and grandchildren.”
-Ann P. Kahn, Former President in the National PTA
Indifference. It’s the biggest problem we face as humans. For years, we have been told to ‘express yourself.’ Embracing our individuality, embracing our flaws, expressing what we sense, being ourselves without having pretension – it’s nothing but good. But have we taken it too much, to the point that we are too focused on ourselves as individuals who we now have forgotten to care?
It was allowed to be a moving discussion about art, but I feel rather than emphasizing art just as one expression of one’s individuality, I will give attention to how art could be a tool for connecting visitors to people. How artists can express themselves having a purpose.
The greater use of data we now have, greater means of link to others – greater we become disconnected. But when you think it over, humans still bond through appreciation of performance arts, visual arts and art rolling around in its newer forms.
You can find communities of people which appreciate the same film, Broadway musical, pop artists and so on. I do think experiencing this is sometimes a great means to fix the indifference and apathy everyone tends to feel towards other folks.
Empowering Artists
Inside a world which allows you infinite channels of reaching out, the world thinks a lot more lonely. In my opinion art could be a solution http://www.drawing-pencil-sketches.com/. Art just as one expression could be a moving force, being a thought and emotion provoking tool. It won’t show how to handle it, nevertheless it can move us to think, to do something and have interaction
You might point out that art can be a more of a guilty pleasure nowadays. It may be. But it may also be more options than that as it can certainly stimulate intellectual discussion. Once you know the classic artwork of Elizabeth Sirani entitled ‘Portia wounding her thigh,’ you can even be familiar with about the debate it sparked on the list of art and intellectual communities then. In the painting, an attractive woman is depicted holding a knife having a bloody wound for my child thigh – thought provoking, interpreted differently, heatedly discussed being a woman doing what a man can, signing up for the same volume of pain and so on.
Although art can be an intense strategy for expressing individuality, it is not entirely restricted to that. Art can often be looked as any creative work of a man knowning that creative work could be a response or a reaction to something beautiful or perhaps idea, in a situation which is personal or otherwise not.
It seems impossible to put art in a box and define it, right. Doesn’t this ambiguity allow us to define it ourselves and give it purpose?
Since art rolling around in its modern form went beyond paintings, sculptures or architecture into posters, popular culture, photography, computer-generated graphic arts, film, music, theater and so on – it has indeed diversified. With marketing thrown in to the mix, artists create art which is targeting a specific audience or is created with a reason this means you will be than simply possessing that art work.
Art that creates a positive change
Popular culture isn’t as widely accepted as art though it may be an imaginative expression. Obviously, TV shows, movies, songs, comics, manga, web series and so on are art. Pop culture ‘s what art aimed to be, a way of life. The effectiveness of pop art can not be underestimated and its continued emergence and evolution insistently break all walls of conformity of high-brow art.
If we take precisely what is looked as the art and give it purpose, empower artists to create art that could inspire audiences to be more compassionate and also emphasize the urgency of issues such as war as well as the global warming – wouldn’t that be social relevance at its finest?
Yes, few people can be artists, but many of us can appreciate we can correspond with, right? That is one reason why artists should take advantage of their platform to create art that I touch and persuade people everywhere. Isn’t this transformative experience what art is perfect for?
