Motion 5 developers have announced a new animated effect entitled inMotion3D Shatter from Pixel Film Studios.

Control the shatter of the footage inside Motion 5 and watch as 3D fragments and shards fly from the camera. inMotion3D Shatter’s animation is automatic and customizable, so users can simply drag, drop a generator to the timeline, apply their media towards the Drop Zone, watching as it shatters.
Utilize the controls in the inspector window to fully customize the Motion shatter template. Users can alter the amount, weight, gravity, thickness and impact from the shatter effect to make endless cool looks.
Users can also add photos, videos or color solids with their shatter effect. Simply drag the media to the timeline and then put it on the generator. Once the media is within the generator, users can uncheck the visibility box of the original media layer.
Designed for Motion 5, users can just drag and drop the generator into the timeline, then adjust the appearance. With the 3D camera and light sources obtainable in Motion 5, users can make more looks than in the past.
