2016 Xmas Rock music recorded in a Phuket recording studio Thailand

A fresh 2016 Christmas rock track has been written, composed and then recorded in a Phuket recording studios in Thailand by songwriter ‘Mark Hopkins’ with the main aim of getting attention and exposure for the Phuket island charity and children’s Orphanages that Mark supports. You can listen and read more by going to the Tsunami Day site .

The songs name is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the songs style is a unique up-tempo rock n roll song. Mark wrote and partially studio recorded a demo song guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in 2015 on Phuket island and has kept the demo song since then waiting for the opportunity to record once again. In August 2016 Mark started the studio recording process and used local session musicians to studio record the tune durring a six week period. The track consists of 8 separate tracks and all session players were from the Philippines, including the female lead vocalist ‘Micah Javier’.
Although I’m coming home for Christmas was recorded on Phuket the mixing and mastering was done in the USA because of Mark wanted the best result and quality. The track ready to be listened to and downloaded by visiting the ‘Tsunami Day’ site.
The main goal of studio recording I’m coming home for Christmas is to bring as many people to the Tsunami Day site as we are able to and then we hope in-turn they will be good enough to help to at least one or all the Phuket island charities, and to also download the song.
One other absolute goal is to have enough downloads of the track to fund and setup a Phuket live music club with open stage and recording studio / teaching room on Phuket, that will provide free lessons and tuition to local underprivileged children from the neighborhood colleges and children’s orphanages. Up to now ‘La QingTing’ is not currently open right now but the website is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you are wondering).
About: Mark set-up the Tsunami Day internet site to promote his music Tsunami Day which was inspired from his own personal experiences while he was living in Patong in 2004 once the Tsunami hit Patong on boxing day. Much like ‘I’m Coming Home For Xmas’the song Tsunami Day also brought awareness to local Phuket Charities and . On the ‘Tsunami Day’ web site there’s numerous ways to greatly help including a Thailand Accommodation and cheap flights to Thailand booking system. Every cent helps.
