2016 Christmas Rock song recorded in a Phuket recording studio Thailand

A new 2016 Xmas rock-POP track has been written, composed and then studio recorded in a Phuket recording studio in Thailand by songwriter ‘Mark Hopkins’ with the key intention of bringing awareness and exposure for the Phuket island charities and children’s Orphanages that Mark supports. You can listen and read more by going to the Tsunami Day site .

The tracks name is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the songs genre is a special up-tempo rock n roll track. Mark wrote and semi studio recorded a demo song guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in 2015 on Phuket island and has kept the demo song since then looking forward to the possibility to record once again. In late August 2016 Mark started the studio recording process and used session players to studio record the track durring a 6 week period. The songs contains 8 separate tracks and all session musicians were from the Philippines, including the female lead artist ‘Micah Javier’.
Although I’m coming home for Christmas was studio recorded on Phuket the mixing and mastering was made in the United States due to Mark needed the most effective result and quality. The music is currently ready to be heard and downloaded by visiting the ‘Tsunami Day’ Website.
The key aim of recording I’m coming home for Xmas is to bring as many folks to the Tsunami Day site as we are able to and then hopefully in-turn they’ll be kind enough to help to one or every one of the Phuket charities, and to also buy the track.
One other absolute goal is to be able enough downloads of the song to help fund and set up a Phuket live music cafe with open stage and studio / teaching room on Phuket, that’ll provide free lessons and tuition to local underprivileged children from the area’s colleges and orphanages. Up to now ‘La QingTing’ is not currently open right now but the website is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you are wondering).
About: Mark set-up the Tsunami Day site to market his tune Tsunami Day that was influenced from his own personal experiences while he was working in Patong in 2004 once the Tsunami hit Patong on boxing day. As with ‘I’m Coming Home For Christmas’the track Tsunami Day also brought awareness to local Phuket Charities and children’s Orphanages. On the ‘Tsunami Day’ site there’s numerous methods to help including a Thailand Villa and cheap flights to Phuket booking system. Every dime helps.
Credits: Mark would like to thank his sponsors: Michael Dietvorst (CEO of Oriental Living), Stuart Baker (GM of Food Hygiene Asia), Alan Cooke ( MBE ), Adam Goodman (GM of Two Chefs Restaurants) and Cassius Rolfe-Johnson (CEO of Phuket Home Services).
