The tracks name is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the tracks genre is a distinctive up-tempo rock/rock-pop track. Mark wrote and semi recorded a demo music guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in 2015 on Phuket island and has kept the demo track since then looking forward to the chance to record once again. In August 2016 Mark started the recording process and used session musicians to studio record the tune durring a 6 week period. The songs contains 8 differant tracks and all session musicians were from the Philippines, including the lead artist ‘Micah Javier’.
Even though I’m coming home for Christmas was recorded on Phuket island the mixing and mastering was done in the United States because of Mark wanted the very best outcome and quality. The music ready to be listened to and downloaded by going to the ‘Tsunami Day’ Website.
The main purpose of studio recording I’m coming home for Xmas is to bring as many folks to the Tsunami Day site as possible and then ideally in-turn they will be kind enough to donate to 1 or all of the Phuket island charities, and to also buy the track.
One other primary goal is to be able enough downloads of the track to help fund and create a Phuket live music bar with open stage and recording studio / training room on Phuket, which will offer free instructions and tuition to local underprivileged kids from the neighborhood colleges and children’s orphanages. To date ‘La QingTing’ isn’t open right now but the website is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you’re wondering).
About: Mark set-up the Tsunami Day web site to market his track Tsunami Day that was influenced from his own personal experiences while he was residing in Patong in 2004 when the Tsunami devistated Patong on boxing day. Much like ‘I’m Coming Home For Christmas’the track Tsunami Day also brought awareness to regional Phuket Charities and Orphanages. On the ‘Tsunami Day’ site there’s numerous ways to help including a Phuket island Accommodation and cheap flights to Thailand booking system. Every cent helps.
