Habitat Canada is partnering with Green Terra Homes to assist families achieve affordable proudly owning

Habitat for Humanity Canada and Green Terra Homes are excited to announce a whole new phase of the partnership that will assist families achieve affordable homeownership across the country. As an ongoing commitment, Green Terra Homes will offer their potential customers the option to donate one per cent from the tariff of their purchase to Habitat Canada.


Like Green Terra Homes and it is customers, Habitat Canada believes in the importance of sustainable building.

“We’re happy to be partnering having an innovative company like Green Terra Homes,” says Mark Rodgers, President and CEO of Habitat for Humanity Canada. “This relationship shows that both Green Terra Homes and Habitat Canada are committed to designing and constructing homes that permit families being strong, stable and independent.”

Both the organizations also connected in 2015, with Green Terra Homes setting up a commitment to provide Habitat Canada with steel home framing kits.

“This continued partnership is a proof of the truly great things we could achieve whenever we interact,” as outlined by Holly Khani, CEO of Green Terra Homes. “We think that as our customers choose environmentally-friendly housing, they’ll jump with the possiblity to help families across the country who’re wanting affordable housing.”

About Green Terra Homes

Established this year, Green Terra Homes is Canada’s first and just CWB CSA A660 and CSA A277 certified steel frame Tiny Homes factory. Prefab homes and manufactured homes are constructed using steel from about six recycled cars, saving around 40 trees per home. The manufacturing facility in Trenton ON also manufactures park model homes, and RVs in addition to steel buildings and structures. The factory is available to the general public with prior appointment.
